Bundesliga Tip – 09/11/12

Last night’s Europa League was a “nearly” night, with a couple of late goals costing some decent profits (Marseille being unable to hold on and the late Basel goal). One tip tonight, and then we go on to the weekend… Hopefully all as successful as last time out! #teamterry

Mainz 05 v Nurnburg

Last time out, both of these sides got a result contrary to their previous form… Nurnburg managed a 1-0 win at home to Wolfsburg after losing 5 of their previous six (drawing the other); and Mainz lost 2-1 at the improving Bremen after winning 4 o f their last 5 (drawing the other). Mainz have won their last 4 at home without conceding – scoring 8 in the process – Adam Szalai is the one to watch for the home side with 8 goals already this season. This is solid home form, and has continued from last season where they lost just 2 from their last 11 at the Coface Arena. Nurnburg have been poor this season after getting 7 points from their first three games. Their last 7 league games have seen them pick up a 1-0 win, a 0-0 draw and 5 defeats. They’ve scored a disappointing 3 goal in these 7 games, conceding 12.  I quite fancy a 2-0 home win (9.6 with Betfair), and maybe a win to nil bet at 2.95 (bwin) is also great value, but the main tip is below…
