Red Hot NBA RunComments Off

After recent NBA success George is hoping to continue his perfect 3-0 NBA run in the past 2 days by offering up this free tip, hopefully a winner, to anyone that signs up to the site TODAY. This is the only way to be on board when George takes the current stretch to 4-0!

Tonight the Spurs return home to face a Philadelphia side on their 8th and final game of an 8 game road stretch. The 76ers haven’t fared too well during the trip and despite a surprise win over the Lakers and Memphis, they’ve been dominated by too many teams and it takes their overall record to 9 losses in the last 12 games.

The Spurs are coming off of that 100-83 loss to the Knicks which is fair to say was a surprise result and borderline being a blowout when you consider how good this Spurs team have been.

Of course, we cashed on the Knicks as a fairly large outsider at 2.10 on Thursday and they covered with ease. Tonight, the Spurs return home and this one is all about the motivational factor.

The Spurs will be keen to put some points on the board and get back to their free scoring ways after they struggled against intense defensive pressure from the Knicks on Thursday.

The 76ers aren’t the Knicks. They will not be able to play a defence that good and they certainly won’t put 100 puts on the Spurs tonight, in fact they might not even get close as the Spurs surpass it.

The game total is set at 198 for the Over or Under. I’d personally be split on that one, but would fancy the under as I think the Spurs will drop 100 points comfortably tonight and the 76ers won’t.

That brings us to the point spread. The line is set at 13 points in favour of the Spurs. Can the Spurs beat this 76ers team by 14 or more? Yeah, and then some. Double it even, perhaps.

This offensive is a big, big threat at home and they are easily capable of blowing out a 76ers side that has really struggled with their offense in the current road trip. They haven’t been scoring enough points and it’s seen them slowly but surely fade away from a lot of their recent opponents as the game progresses.

Tonight, I think the 76ers can keep with the Spurs maybe until half time – maybe. But at some point in this game I really think the Spurs are going to pull away big time.

As well as noting the 76ers have lost 14 of their last 15 trips here, they’re only averaging 93 points per game this season and I think you’ll see that number drop down in tonight’s game.

Not only have the Spurs averaged 105 points per game this season they’ll be playing with a defence that has picked up 33 rebounds per game also.
