Despite a small 1-2 set back on Wednesday I still followed up last weekends 4-0 with a 4-4 so far this week, and tonight I’ll be looking to push us in to that winning margin over the last 9 bets before we set our sights on another big weekend haul! Tonight I’m taking it easy and just going with this one game going in to the weekend.

Portland Trailblazers @ Golden State Warriors

Here’s your value. Of course, at Team Terry, we always recommend a fixed £20 stake to our members to keep it simple and easy to track a true ROI, but every now and then you do find a bet where if you’ve had a good week you’ll allow yourself to lump on at odds that are great value. Last night for me it was Barcelona in Football. The bookmakers -2, -2.5 & -3 handicaps all at 1.8-2.60 in pricing (crazily) were smashed to bits by over 65 units of stake! Tonight, I’m considering a big play on Golden State – between you and me of course – but the staking as always is an advised £20 and anything outside of that… maybe consider it? But be it on your head.

The Warriors are a tough, tough home team and for the Trailblazers they’re opponent number 2 in a back to back stretch that seen a monumental effort last night as they came from behind the narrowly knock off the defending NBA Champions, the Miami Heat, at home.

For me that’s going to lead to tired legs and tired minds, and whether it be through tiredness or lots of forced rotation and bench players seeing more time than usual, I just think this has the potential to really get away from Portland in the second half, especially late on.

The point spread has moved up to -8 in favor of the Warriors with most sites giving -7.5 to start with. Some have even dropped to -6.5 while crazily Marathon bet are offering -6.5 at nearly the set usual price. Their odds of 1.88 for -6.5 are superb, considering you can find -8 at 1.90 with some bookmakers.

Portland are 5-5 against the points spread this season when going in to the second of a back to back stretch and having used so much energy to squeeze past the Champs and when you look at their schedule and the teams played in the second game of a back to back – they’ve all been fairly average. Unlike the Warriors.

Another factor is the motivation. Golden State haven’t lost 3 games in a row all year but are sitting on back to back losses right now. A minimal blip that should be set right in front of a home crowd and a tired opponent.

Golden State -6.5 @ 1.88 with Marathon
