Brazilian tips 2/2/13Comments Off

After a profitable midweek we’re back into the action for the weekends actions. Just a quick side note, around 20 people messaged me on Thursday night saying that they lost on the Palmeiras over 3 goals bet. Please not that this bet is on the goal line and is no way similar to over 2.5 goals. If you ever get stuck and are unsure please contact us at TeamTerry.

Ponte Preta vs Penapolense (9:30PM)

A game where  second placed Ponte Preta face  third placed Penapolense, both of these sides are exceeding all expectations this season and they’ve both really impressed me in all four of their matches this campaign. Although Penapolense are currently third which is a fantastic start to a season especially for a team that were due to be fighting relegation this season.  As expected Ponte Preta are performing extremely well in the Paulista and they’ll be expecting to pick up another three points here although I’m sure it will be a difficult game for the side. Ponte Preta forward William will be upfront looking to add to his 2 goals this season and I’m confident he can do especially with Pena missing a few key defenders. Penapolense will go into the game with a nothing to lose mentality as their team are brimming with confidence which could lead to a fantastic match. In the opening four games Penapolense have scored a very impressive eight goals whilst conceding five so it doesn’t need me to tell you that they play a very open style of football which leads me to think this game should be a goal fest.

Mirassol vs Ituano (7PM)

A bottom of the table clash between two of the lowest scoring sides in the Paulista league with Mirassol scoring just twice in their four games and Ituano yet to score a goal. Ituano’s obvious lack of a goalscorer can be painful to watch as they keep trying wingers upfront as a false number nine in the hope that they put in a performance, none of them have. With both teams desperate not to lose this game I can see it being a tight affair, especially in the first half as both teams sit back and look to work each other out.  Ituano will be desperate not to concede an early goal because with no goal in four games the psychology of the team will obviously be effected. Ituano have been working on defending set pieces all week now and I’m expecting to see an improvement in their all-around performance on Saturday. This bet is a bit against what I’d normally do but I’m extremely confident on this bet.

Ponte Preta vs Penapolense  – Over 2.5 goals (1.91 Marathon)

Mirassol vs Ituano – 2nd half most goals (2.05 bet365)
