Spanish Football Tip – 11/2/2013Comments Off

Just the one tip tonight to try and build on two consecutive victories yesterday. Although surprising to see, I think there’s good value in a very simple market.

Real Betis v Real Valladolid (8:30pm)

Real Betis continue their record of being a better away side than at home, having W5-D1-L5 on home turf. They are however one of the leagues better sides without the results necessarily showing a true reflection of the game flow. For example, they were unlucky not to get at least a point in their previous match against Atletico Madrid. Valladolid have equally impressed me this season, but their away record is the Southern side of average, having a tally of W3-D1-L6. It should be heavily noted that these wins have came at stages of the season when the full squad was available, which is not the case tonight. I think Betis are the better side in terms of true ability and that this is not reflected correctly in the odds for this match.

Real Valladolid will be without key man Patrick Ebert once more and it’s no secret how much they’ve missed their star man in several performances this season. However, perhaps equally as important but not as publicly recognised, is the absence of Marc Valiente to injury. He has been a rock for Valladolid at the back and the defence looks a little bit exposed to the likes of Ruben Castro and co. Keeping things short, sweet and simple, I like the look of the regular Betis win at almost even money.
