Champions League Tips – 12/02/13Comments Off

One tip today, and it looks like there might be another one tomorrow as the UEFA Champions League is back…

Celtic v Juventus (7:45pm)

After a dominant performance at home to rivals Fiorentina, Juventus come in to this game with back to back Serie A victories after a previous stutter in their league form. Unbeaten in their group stages, the strength in the squad is undeniable, and with players such as Giovinco and Pogba on the bench, attacking options are aplenty. Celtic have a surprisingly strong record at home in the Champions League and have historically done well when hosting Italian sides. Saying this, Juventus are unbeaten away from home in Europe in 8 games, and their current form should be enough to see that run continue. There certainly is value in this market, and although the home side will undoubtedly put up a fight, I strongly believe that Juventus have what it takes to take win this leg and get one foot in the quarter finals by the final whistle tonight. Juventus European away games are often tight affairs, but their quality should shine through; to get this close to evens for this game is certainly a good value bet.
