We grew a custom to 4-0 & 5-0 nights last season. We’re still looking for our first big winning night this season, but it’s getting closer. The NBA season is months and months of ups and downs.
San Antonio Spurs @ Philadelphia 76ers – (12.00am)
The Spurs destroyed the Knicks in a blowout game that saw them drop 120 points yesterday afternoon. This is a back to back but only a short trip as they visit the 76ers. The home side have caused more than a few upsets so far, but they also have a defence very capable of giving up points. The most important trend here is how the Spurs have reacted to scoring 120 points on the road in the next game. It’s important to see if this is a let-down spot or not, and it isn’t. They’ve won 7 of 8 in this situation and covered the spread in all 7. The Spurs have won the most 4 recent meetings with this side and if they put up numbers like they did yesterday, they cover. Fingers crossed.
Minnesota Timberwolves @ LA Clippers – (3.30am)
The Clippers have made a good job of covering the spread lately. They’ve been on a roll, just like the Timberwolves, and it’s hard to pick a spread here. The Clippers are certainly likely winners, but the scoring of Minnesota is capable of matching them, and it could be a pretty interesting game. Minnesota are ranked as the fastest team in the league going forward, whilst the Clippers are always one of the most productive teams when in possession. Love is shooting 26.1 points per game and Martin is hitting just shy of 60% of his shots this season, which is insane form. The same can be said for Griffin and Chris Paul, so there’s plenty of scorer power. Both teams play fast and defence could go out the window.
