Success! A nice 3-1 is the best we could have hoped for. I took a big chance on Utah +2.5 and they didn’t reward us, so I don’t think we’ll back them for a while. However, 3-1 is back to winning nights and hopefully we can build with a more selective selection from tonight’s small list of games
Detroit Pistons @ Golden State Warriors – (3:30am
The Pistons will enter in to the second of a back to back tonight, after last night’s high scoring 6 point loss in Portland. The Warriors have lost 2 in a row, but they’re back from their tough road trip and on a day’s rest now. Igo and Curry have been scoring well despite the recent losses and they’ll face a Pistons side that is 0-2 and 0-2 against the spread on the road so far this season. There is definitely the possibility of a real sloppy and tired performance from the Pistons, and this Warriors side will punish them. Interestingly, teams going to play in Golden State on the second game of a back to back currently have a 0-10 record in the last 10 meetings, whilst the home side have made a tremendous habit of destroying teams after a low scoring outing such as the loss in Memphis over the last few seasons. Curry and co really are good enough to make light work of the Pistons if they aren’t properly prepared.
