Here are todays NBA bets
Utah Jazz @ Phoenix Suns
The Suns and the Jazz met just last night in Utah, and they’ll play again in Phoenix this evening. The visiting Suns left with a comfortable 11 point victory despite trailing by a lot at one stage, and they never really looked that tested. The spread has only been set 4 points higher than yesterday evening with the Suns made 8 point favorites. This situation gives us a feast of trends that suggest we could have an easy winner here. Firstly, the Suns are 7-1 ATS (against the spread, aka covering the spread) in their last 8 on the back of scoring 100+ points (which they did last night). Also, the Suns are 3-0 ATS on the back of a 10 point win. They’ve been the NBA surprise package this season, but they’ve covered the point spread in 15 of their last 20 games and 11 of 14 so far this season. Utah are just 7-9. Finally, the Suns are on a 7-1-1 ATS run on the back of a win and 7-2 ATS as a home favorite of 5-10.5 points.
Boston Celtics @ Milwaukee Bucks
The Celtics made light work of a poor team in Cleveland last night, but they face the poorest of them all when they travel to Milwaukee. The Bucks have won just 2 of their 15 games and although is bad enough – they may be even worst than that! They started the season 2-2, and since then they’ve lost 11 straight games. Despite the obvious fact of them just not being very good, what’s worrying is the schedule hasn’t been particularly tough and they aren’t losing narrowly. They’re going out every night just hoping not to be smashed to pieces at the moment, but they can’t even manage that too often. The Bucks really struggle to score and that’s relevant against a Celtics team who are top 10 in defence efficiency. The Celtics have turned things around after winning 3 of the last 4, and the Bucks are just 3-14 ATS in their last 17. They’re 1-5 ATS when playing on 0 days rest and the Celtics are a healthier 5-1 ATS in that situation.
