One of the most financially rewarding fixtures takes place today at Wembley between Derby County and Queesn' Park Rangers. Both had different paths in to the final. Derby won convincingly over two legs against Brighton, whilst QPR struggle against Wigan, going through in extra time in the second leg.
Derby are the side in better form, and without a defeat since 5th April, I think they will win this game and book their place in the top flight for next season. QPR have the money, the squad and the manager to suit Premier League football, but all to often this season they've shown weaknesses that have meant their season was far from what they would have liked. Their away form was mainly to blame, with just 6 points from their last 7 league games they tend to struggle away from Loftus Road. They have experience though, and a high profile game such as this suggests they won't be beaten easily. However, I think McClaren is epxerienced enough to handle the Derby players and ensur they continue their impressive form running in to this huge game,
