This fixture is a massive game for both clubs, Liverpool absolutely need three points to both distance themselves from Everton and the rest of the sides battling for fourth, but also to keep up with the three sides above them.
Arsenal top the table but know that anything but three points could see top spot snatched from them by either Chelsea or Man City who are hot on their trail as we begin to hit the business end of the season. This fixture is the start of their most difficult set of fixtures, so getting it off to a good start here at Anfield.
Arsenal have a habit of getting a result here, and are haven't lost in their last 6 games (W3 D3) at Anfield. Liverpool have a strong home record, losing just once (1-0 to Southampton), but they'll be aware that that Arsenal are theonly side to stop the strike partnership of Suarez and Sturridge from scoring in the 2-0 victory at the Emirates.
After a solid performance last weekend Oxlade Chamberlain could start in CM again, and I expect a front 4 of Ozil, Podolski, Cazorla and Giroud - and these four will be key in Arsenal covering the +0.50 line on the Asian Handicap (double chance). The defence has been pretty solid and I think that they will contain Liverpool for the most part, so taking chances (and creating them) will be the most important aspect. Obviously Suarez can produce magic at times, but against a strong defence with 10 clean sheets to their name already, I think the Liverpool faithful could be in for a frustrating afternoon
