The Thunder have been hit and miss without Westbrook. They've been on a recent run and knocked off some good times, but struggles against the Nets, Raptors and Magic on home court has highlighted potential weaknesses. The Heat never set the court on fire ATS wise, and never ever will, but you have to pick your spots wisely with them.
Westbrook is gone for OKC and that is a huge, huge loss. It's been blanketed over by the fact Durant, IS, the best player in the NBA over the last 10 games. He's broken the 30 point mark each night in January and put up 40+ at times.
LeBron James will argue despite the run of forms, he's still the better player, and 'The King' is probably right. That said, why doesn't he go out there and show it tonight if that's the case?
OKC have struggled against Miami in recent seasons, which really highlights how the Heat and James can up their game. Wade's return comes at a nice time and Miami will hope to continue their 5-0ATS and straight up winning home run over the Thunder. OKC have dropped 7 of the last 9 overall to Miami.
Miami are not to be messed with in this spot, as they're 7-1ATS as a favorite of 0.5-4.5 points. The Thunder are dominating just about every trend going, but when it comes down to it, this is about not the trends, but having a real understanding of what this Miami team can do, and the situations they'd like to do it in.
