West Bromwich vs Liverpool

West Bromwich vs Liverpool

Liverpool travel to West Brom afte their impressive victory at home against Everton in the Merseyside derby. West Brom played a derby too, coming unstuck against Aston Villa, losing 4-3 having been 2-0 up after 10 minutes.

Both sides have concerns, and need three points for different reasons. West Brom are in danger of slipping in to the bottom three, and Liverpool can't faulter if they want to keep 4th place and keep on the trail of the top three.

Liverpool have lost 4 away games from 11 this season already, but bear in mind that three of those were against the current top three. Other than that, they have lost at Hull City in a game where Hull were very good and discplined and Liverpool were below par. West Brom aren't as strong defensively (highlighted by conceding 4 goals at Aston Villa), and I think the form of Suarez and Sturridge will again be too much for the opposition defence.

Liverpool have defensive issues due to injuries, but they still have 4/5 players that can compile a solid enough back four. Flanagan/Sktrel/Tour/Cissokho will probably be the back four again, and with West Brom not looking overly ambitious going forward, I think Liverpool will have plenty of chances here, and should win comfortably. I'm going a little above the standard line backing Liverpool as I'm confident we won't lose this bet.

-1.00 means we need Liverpool to win by 2 or more, but a win by 1 goal will results in getting our stake returned. I think it's a good position.

Guys this is brilliant!

Liverpool below par for this game. Didn't create enough really. Saying that, Suarez had a golden chance to make it 2-0 and there is not much you can do when a centre back gives the striker a chance like Anichebe's today :-(
