The Warriors covered -9 for us yesterday evening to take their current win streak to 10 games. They'll be facing a Brooklyn Nets side without star players Brook Lopez and Deron Williams but what affect will that have on the outcome of the 6.5 point spread in this one
Finally, the Raptors will host the Pistons. Toronto covered against the Pacers for the third time this season last night, whilst the Pistons failed to cover +2.5 against a Knicks side without Chandler, and whom playoved the turnover game for fun in the 4th. Will the form book prevail here?
Man City host West Ham in the first leg of te second semi final. We're expecting a strong City line up and a West Ham line up that is much stronger than for their FA Cup 3rd round defeat at Forest
The LA Lakers travel to Dallas tonight to face the Mavericks. The Mavericks have a solid 19-15 record so far this season, trailing the San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets by 7 and 4 games respecitvely.
With an 11-6 home record this season, the Lakers could find it tough, especially having only won 1 of their last 5. Their main concern has been defensively, averaging 104.2 points against per game.
The spread here is quite a high line though, and the difference between the sides might not actually be as much as the line suggests
Tonight the Chicago Bulls play host to the Phoenix Suns at the United Center. The Bulls have been playing some solid basketball of late, and have won 5 of their last 7 after a disappointing start to their season.
The Bulls will be without a few players, but whether it will make a difference or not is another matter. Suns will be without guard Eric Bledsoe (knee injury), so aren't at 100% either, it depends on who can let their injury worries impact them the least that will win this game.
The in form Golden State Warriors have an opportunity to make it 10 straight wins tonight as they travel to Milwaukee to face the Bucks.
Their consistency can't be denied, winning htier last 5 on the road and now wit with a 23-13 record.
The Bucks are suffering a poor run of form, losing 10 of their last 12 and come in to this game on the back of a 116-100 loss against the Suns. Their downfall in that game was the fact the commited a very high nomber of turnovers (25).
If they can reduce this number, which they should, then they could maybe run the Warriors close. With the larger lines, it is often difficult to know if the dog will be stubborn and put up a fight, or cave and suffer a blowout.
Today the Detroit Pistons travel to New York to face the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
The Knicks are currently 11-22 this season, but their current form has been improving of late. The Pistons have a marginally better record (14-20) with a .500 average on the road this season so far (8-8).
Valencia host high flyers Atletico Madrid in the first leg of this Copa del Rey tie at the Mestalla. They come in to this game on the back of a relatively straight forward win against Levante, and have an impressive home record against today's visitors - losing just once in 13 games. However, Atletico are the in form side in Spain with 7 consecutive wins and just one defeat in 28 competitive fixtures so far this season.
Atletico have an hugely important game on Saturday against Barcelona, so Simeone and his players may have one eye on that game.
