The Magic have spent most of January being smashed out of the water, and a blowout loss to the Kings confirms how bad they've been. Dallas have been quietly picking up wins on the road, but aren't often this big a favourite, and we also have to consider team news for this one.
Stoudemire will once again line up against his former team this evening, and he's enjoyed playing against them in the past. Both sides have had to deal with injuries that have played a part in results lately. Bledsoe will be missing again, but can the Suns build on their excellent ATS record?
We faded the Kings as they kicked us on our 4-2 night, but we had admitted we had little reason to play Orlando, and it was just a chance to fade the Kings in a situation they've struggled in. They got the win, however, and the Cavs may take time to fully integrate Deng in to their system. Will Deng play a big enough part on defensive to stop Cousins and Gay this evening?
I like what the Celtics did last night. I had a feeling they'd play it fairly close, maybe not 2 points close, but a great effort. The Trailblazers took the night off so you'd imagine the fresh legs are with them, but will the Celtics finally find some road momentum after last night's efforts?
The Pistons average 101.4ppg, whilst they give up above 104. The Suns themselves average a healthy 105.3 but barely keep opponents to to 202. Those numbers may add up to our total on a normal night, but clearly Phoenix missed Bledsoe last night in scoring and his absence could hurt any total right now. What will their response be tonight?
The Rockets were toppled by the Hawks in a narrow loss last night, whilst there was nothing narrow about the dismantling Washington received from the Pacers, losing 93-66 last night. Despite the obvious difference in quality between the rosters, how do both teams fair on a back to back and on a loss?
With our without CP3 and half of the Lakers squad, this isn't going to be a blockbuster. Players you never expected will step up, the Lakers will find their 3 point game and lob city and Blake Griffin will reel off the highlight reels. We cannot WAIT for this HUGE game, and we think we have a value winner here!
Bynum is long gone, but say hello to Luol Deng. The Bulls star is now a Cav as they look to rubber stamp their playoff push after a poor season so far. On the other side of the court we have the Jazz, fresh off a win over the Thunder, but still clearly a poor and unstructured team. Who will prevail on a small spread?
Sacramento have made a habit of doing it against the big teams then dropping games against lesser sides - especially at home. Orlando, however, are one of the worst in the league right now. Will Rudy Gay and Cousins' form be enough to lift the Kings over the Magic here?
The Heat got dominated by the Knicks just last night, and they'll be playing a back to back against a Nets side fresh off of a cover and uspet win (one we called) against the Warriors. Will the improving Nets continue their fine form, or will the Heat bounce back with a vengeance this evening? This game is live for you on BT Sport.
Apologies for the shorter preview, but I just want to get this one up on time. The Suns are still the best team at covering spreads in the NBA and have been since week 2, but the Grizzlies have found their defence on they are on the up. Will the Suns find the tempo and speed with Bledsoe, or will they be due another spread failure against this tough defence?
The always red hot Pacers take on the inconsistent but threatening Wizards in Indiana this evening, and we're looking for the total for our bet. Indiana are well known as a strong Under side, whilst Washington are on a run on the Over. Which prevails here?
